    this is all superstition and is unbelieved by all Catholics.
    Another game is "Biting An Apple Hung out of the Ceiling." They tie a cord round the apple and they hang it from the ceiling, then they put their hands behind their backs and they try to bite the apple without touching it. There are many numerous out-door games to be played also. Some of the boys get what they call "invisible thread" because you would not notice it, and they hide in some dark laneway and they pull the thread and the knocker - beat against the door.
