    are quite soft. Mix salt through this. Add some flour and make into a fairly thin cake. Put it to bake and while it is baking you can mix another one.
    Pancakes are made by getting a porringer and putting milk, flour, salt, and soda into it. Mix all up together until it is very soft. It is then called a batter. This is put on a pan to bake. It is very thin when baked, and is very nice for tea or any other meal.
    Oaten Bread was made very frequently in olden times, but is not common now. This is how to make
