- Tom Borr lived in Dungimmon about 1798. He dreamed that there was a treasure in his own field now owned by Michael Lynch Clonbockague, Mt Nugent, Co. Cavan, and that there was a gold spur over it and that a life should be lost before it could be got.
He killed a cat and started to dig. He got the gold spur. He got a pain and said that he would not dig anymore until tomorrow. But he was dead the next day.- Collector
