    time comes for sowing, he grubs the land and opens up the drills about two feet apart. He spreads the farm yard manure at the bootom of the drills and shakes the fertilizer over it and then he leaves the slits about ten inches apart. Wooden ploughs were used in moory land.
    In Summer the potatoes are wed and moulded and sprayed three times.
    They are dug in Autumn and put into pits which are covered with straw. Later they are covered with clay.
    The big potatoes are first picked and put into a pit and then the small ones are picked and put into a pit for themselves.
