  1. There lived an old widow once upon a time and she had only one son. She lived near the Fort that is on top of "Cnoc an Cirruí".
    A tailor from my village went visiting to her house every night. One night he went visiting to her and the woman went out milking the cows. When she was gone out the child sat up in the craddle and began to play a bagpipe and the man wondered at him.
    He told the child's mother to get forge-water and throw and she did and the child went out through the roof.
