  2. In olden times bread was made from oatmeal and water. Sometimes they made "Boxty." It was made of raw potatoes scrapped into a basin and put into a cloth and the water squeezed out of them. Then it was put into a basin again and some flour mixed with it. It was put down on a riddle and
