  1. Potatoes are grown on our land every year. We have about three roods under potatoes. My father prepares the ground and he also manures it. Some of the potatoes are sown in drills and some in ridges. Drills are usually made with a plough and ridges with a spade. Wooden ploughs were used up to twenty years but now we have iron ones. They were called drill
