    The swallow builds its nest in barns or stables. The sparrows build along under eves of thatched houses or in holes in houses. The robin and thrush build on the top of tall trees.
    The wild geese do not build their nests in Ireland. They are reared out in the cold countries and they come into Ireland when they are big and stay in it for the Winter.
    The wild duck builds its nests in bogs. The nest are made out of sedges and rushes. They generally lay four or five blue speckled eggs. The bird then sits on them for a month. When they come out they are hatched for about two weeks and after two or three weeks
