  2. There is a blessed well in Ballyheane Cemetry. It is said that St. Patrick baptised people at that well. People perform the Stations of the cross and visit this well on the feast of the Assumption St. Patrick visited that well on his way to Chroagh Patrick. He left the track of his foot beside the well. There is another holy well
