    another in the olden times but not so much now.
    When the potato crop is a while set it is scuffled down with the scuffer and soiled up with the double mouldboard plough twice or three times during the months of June and July.
    The potatoes are sprayed in the months of June July and August. My father digs them then in the month of October and he makes a hole in the land and covers them up with rushes and in a little while after he covers them with clay. The local names for potatoes are Champions, arron Banner
