- A fairy womanOne night John Kerrigan and his wife were coming from visiting. They were just coming at James Walsh's black gate in Knappa-Beg went a small woman ran out on the road before them from James Walshes gate. She walked on before them and after a while she disappeared. No ever say her after that.
I heard this story from John Kerrigan, Knappa-Beg, Westport, Co. Mayo- Collector
