    On the Sunday after Shrove Tuesday ,all the little boys get a little bits of chalk and they mark every middle -aged person who did not get married on that Shrove.That particular Sunday is called "Chalk Sunday".
    The old people say that it is unlucky to get married in the month of May,and they also say that the best day of the week to get married on is Wednesday.
    Around this place the people are not very particular as to the cloathes they wear at their wedding and they seldom keep to the old poem which says:-
