    It is over a hundred years since marriages were held in the houses.Matches in the olden times were made by a match-maker who lived in the parish.If a boy wanted to get married he would go to him and he would make a match for him.
    There used to be a wedding generally where the boy or girl would be going into.The uninvited boys would dress themselves up in straw and go into the house and danced with the girls for a few hours and
