  1. I live in Crusheen, My father is a farmer, and he sows Potatoes every year. He sows the Potatoes in ridges when the ground is new, and in drills when then the ground has been cultivate before.

    The timber plough is out of date for over fifty years. It was all made of timber except the sock and culter which were made of iron. Twenty years ago a smith m name Mr. Brady used to make the spades for the people of this Parish and for miles around. The people of the Parish
