  1. The Churn 10-3-'38
    There is a churn in every farmers house in this district.The old churn is common enough yet here around.We have one in our house .It is about two and a half feet in height ,and the mouth of the churn is about eight inches wide .We have it in our house about thirty years.
    The handle of the churn is called the churn-staff,the handle is about five feet high with a round piece of wood at the end
