    Marriages 13 -2- 38.
    It is during the season of shrove the people in the district of Crusheen get married .No one gets married in the months of May or October.During Shrove Tuesday night all the people make pancakes and put rings and other things into them.Long ago the people used to get married in the houses and after the marriage ceremony there used to be a big wedding in both houses and the straw boys used to come and dance in the house which the bride used to be and any girl they would ask to dance with she should.There was an old custom was to throw rice at the
