  1. On the highest peak of a little hill in the townland of Drimnasillagh there is the ruins of an old castle. In this castle there lived a Danish king who fleeing from the hands of an enemy hid his gold in the cave under his castle. Not only did he hide his gold but also axes and other implements. The cave is guarded by a wild animal and the person who is to get this gold is to die that night.
