  1. Near to the little Village of Glenties there is a townland called Glenmacennive and near to this townland is my home. In this townland there are many different names.
    1. There is a glen in it and people call it the sleeping glen.
    They call it this because it is said that their are sleeping soldiers in it. When the place was occupied by William Gildea every night the cows would be let loose out of the bayers.
