It was about the year 1867 that these evictions occoured. The tenants on the Carrowkeel eshtate was undher King-Harman, an' its seems that there was some discontentment about the bailiff, that was workin, for King-Harman, an' Father Owen Sweeney that was at that time Parish priest in Ballinafad wrought it round, that it was wan o' the local proteshtants(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
