- We keep sheep, cows, a horse, an ass, a cat and a dog. The cows are kept in a barn called the "Scipin" They are tied with a chain attached to a stick by a hook. When they break into a neighbours field the head and a foot are tied. This tying is called a "Fetter" or "Crimnask" and when a hind foot and a foremost foot are tied it is called the Side Lang.
The names of our cows are, "The Black Cow," "The White Cow," "The Red Neck," "The Blue Cow," and the "Springer."(continues on next page)- Collector
