When country couples marry there is generally an all night wedding attended in many places by Straw boys who wished the wedding party and join in the dances and then leave.
Brides are very fond of wearing blue on the wedding day,and also there is an old belief that it is lucky to borrow something from a neighbour.
There is an pl saying that says.
    Something old and something new,
    Something borrowed and something blue.
