  1. Once upon a time there was a boy who lived in Kiltimagh. His name was famous everywhere because he was a great jumper. The people of that district liked him very well.
    One day his chums told him to come out hunting with them and he came with them. They were not gone far when they came to a wide road on each side of which was a high fence.
    The boys said it would be a good jump to go from one fence to the other. So the boy said he would.
    He took a race back the field and jumped it.
    When he landed on the other side he did not get up
