   A Fairy Story 7.12.1938 Once upon a time when my grandfather was a boy there lived in the town land of Carracastle a boy named Patrick Murtagh and his mother. One night when he was coming home from a dance he met a crowd of fairies near and old fort. They brought him in to the fort and to his surprise he saw there many people whom he had known before they died. In about half an hour two more fairies whom he had not seen before came and gave him a glass of wine. When he took the wine he went to sleep. While he was asleep the fairies sent a boy to Patrick's house. When he reached the house he was sick. Patrick's mother thought he was her own son and she put him to bed. The next day he died.
