    When he came out he told the other man what he saw in the fort. The other boy said that he often heard that dead people used to be seen in that fort but he never believed it until that night. The two boys were afraid to pass that fort ever after that at night time.
    When they were gone about half a mile they met an old man and they told him their story. The old man said that he often saw what they had seen that night when he would be passing that fort at night.
