  1. About fifty years ago it was said that there was a fairy ring on Dalkey Hill. Here is an old story told about it. One night a man named Mr Ward was going home very late. He was along Ard Brugh Rd when he looked around. When he looked around he saw many little fairies around him playing ball. The ball went between the man's legs and he could not walk. They would not let the man go home and after about an hour the man shouted "Good men on both sides" and they let him go.
