  1. There is a house on Sorrento Road which is supposed to be haunted. It is called "Jack Horner's House." It got this name from its last owner, Jack Horner, who is now dead. It is a very old house and is nearly in ruins. Doors are supposed to be heard shutting when no one is near them. Thuds are supposed to be heard all over the house. Mr Jack Horner was about ninety years of age when he died. The house is situated a few yards beyond the first Railway Bridge you meet when going up Sorrento Road.
