  1. A story of the Lady's Well
Here is a story of the Lady's Well There was a nun sitting on the rocks. It was a summer evening and it began to get dark. She saw the nuns going in to the convent to pray. She decided to stay out a little while longer. She was the only nun who did not seem to like her duties. Suddenly a man was standing before her. She began to talk to the man. She looked round for a second and when she looked round there was no man. She looked at the rocks, and on the rock was the cloven foot which can be seen up to the present day. It is said the nun was very holy afterwards.
I got this story from James Thomas.3 St. Patrick's Road, Dalkey (26)
