    I got for the following riddles from my mother:-
    I have a wee mare she has an iron throat the more she gallops she swallows my rope.
    Answer A sewing machine working.
    What is open when it is shut and shut when it it open.
    Answer. Railway gates closed against road traffic.
    What has teeth and never eats with them. Answer A comb.
    What wave is never crossed by a ship or boat. Answer. A wave in a ladys hair.
