  1. There are no tailors about our district, and I only know two in Buncrana whose names are Neil McGroarty and whose adress is Mill Brae Buncrana and James Doherty who lives on the Main Street.
    The wool is not commonly spun and woven in this district, and wollen clothes are not commonly worn here.
    It is not common for shirts to be made at home in our district but stockings and socks are knitted at home by some people who have spinning wheels and using their own yarn got from the sheep's wool.
