  2. Salt and hot water is good for a sore throat.
    For a pain in your stomach . Take a cup of boiled milk.
    For wild fire. The blood of a black cat.
    For teeth-aches. Boiling water and salt.
    For sore eyes. Bold tea.
    For boils. Hot wax or an onion.
    For scals. Boiled loaf bread in water.
    For whooping cough. Ask an owner of a white horse and whatever he will say will be a cure.
    For a burn of a nettle. Rub doch leaves to it.
    If you had the measles. Boil a grannóg and give the person that has the measles the soup of it and it is said to cure them.
