    I heard a story from my grandfather.

    I heard a story from my grandfather. It is about an old tree that was growing in the middle of a large field. One day a man went to knock it. He cut it, and when he had it cut, it fell on his foot and broke it. When his foot was broken the tree stood up again. The tree is growing in our field.
    I know where the tree is. It is not a very big tree but there is a hole in the middle of it. It is a haw-thorn tree, and the man wanted the branches for fencing. A person could shake the tree, because the roots are not good. One day my father went to knock it, and when he struck it the hatchet
