  1. My grandfather's landlord was Lord Massey. He was a very good landlord and also a gentleman but his agents and bailiffs were very bad. I heard people say they remember to have seen his bailiffs and agents tossing John Mc Roy's house and sawing the timber and letting the roof fall in. But the neighbours gathered and built a hut in a neighbour's field.
    When Lord Massey heard of it he was very angry with his agents and bailiffs so he sent money to
