  1. Sir Fredrick Hamilton
    Frederick Hamilton came to Iseland about the sixteenth century. He was a Scottish planter and got a large territory of land around Manorhamilton. He built a large bastle in the town and the ruins are to be seen yet.
    He was a very cruel man and used to send his soldiers out the country murdering the people. The soldiers often cut the heads off people and brought in the heads to the bastle and put them on spikes there.
    There was a family of Rynnes living in Leckanaraney and one night
