  1. The father and mother must be the one name before a person has the cure of the mumps. The cure is to be found at Mrs. Crowne's where three townlands meet. The cure is made by the person who has the cure and the person who has the mumps must be led to the three mearing water and get three drops of the water in the name of the father Son and holy Ghost. Thus must be given for three days and then the cure is made. The person must be led to the three mearing water once every day for three days and then the cure is made.
