was that anyone who lifted the sledge could not let it go till he liked. The second one was that anyone who sat in his armchair could not leave it till he liked. The third one was that what money he would put into his purse it could not leave it till he liked.
"Ah ; my poor man," said the little woman, "why didn't you wish for heaven" "Ah ; it's all right," said Bill. so the little woman went on the road and Bill went home.
In a few days after the devil came to the forge and said "I'll give you all the money you wish if you come with me in seven years." "I will go with you in seven years," said Bill and the devil went back to hell.
The seven years were nearly up and Bill felt very lonely when he thought he had to go with the devil. A few days after the devil came to the forge and said, "are you ready to come Bill?" "Wait for a few minutes I have to turn a few shoes first." "Take the sledge and help me turn them."
