  1. Long, long ago, it was supposed that a treasure of some kind was hidden in the place. A man who lived in the neighborhood dreamt about it and he was told in his dream that it could not be found till after midnight.
    He used to go every night, to where the treasure was said to be buried, and keep making a cave as a means of procuring it.
