    It was believed that slánlus leaves would keep a cut from bleeding.

    To bring luck to a person who is losing, you put a pin in his coat, without being seen by him.
    It is considered unlucky, as regards cards, to stand accidentally on a cat's tail
    If you go under a briar that (is growing at both en) has taken root at both ends, it is said that you will be very lucky playing cards.
    Others say that going under such a briar gives one exceptional strength and vigorous health.
