Carry on the battle boys, for half the work is done,
Keep the foe men going while we have them on the run
Never think of resting boys till victory is won
We'll hold the land for the people.

Bowed down in hopeless misery we have borne our lot so long,
For every petty tyrant who dared to do us wrong,
Now they crouch before us as we stand erect and strong
We'll hold the land for the people.

Fly you Lords of rack-rent your wicked reign is o'er,
Quake you cruel Landlords, from your claws our hearts are sore,
