- Christmas-Day.
Christmas-Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. About a week or two weeks before it the people have a busy time cleaning the house and decorating it with holly and decorations for the Christmas. On every Christmas Eve the people light candles and leave them in the windows to show light to the Blessed Virgin, and they also leave the door opened to give our Blessed Lady shelter.
On Christmas Night the children hang up their stockings and Santa Claus comes and fills them up with toys. Long ago the people only used to eat meat twice a year and that was on(continues on next page)- Collector
