    Tom Haney, Toome, was a good oarsman. He used to row on the Canal. He died about 52 years ago.
    Malic McKeon, Toome, was able to mow 1/2 acre in a day He died about 16 years ago.
    James Yorke, Toome, was a good dancer. He used to dance "Miss Mc Cloud's Reel", and the "Geese in the Bog", at sports and halls. He is dead 20 years.
    John Moran, Clonard, was a good singer. He is dead 19 yrs.
