- 1. It is a custom for the bridegroom to throw money out to the poor people, when driving home. If the bride threw it out, she would throw away her fortune and good luck.2. If a friend of the bride does not throw an old boot into the house from the door, she will make the bride be unlucky for seven years.3. The bride should wear her wedding dress two sundays after her marriage, if she does not she will be unlucky.4. The mother of the bride should not see her daughter being married.5. When the bride cake is being cut, the bridegroom is supposed to hold the bride's hand.6. It is a custom to throw rice or confetti on the bride.7. It is considered to be unlucky to be married in green, or on the thirteenth of any month.
