  1. There are eight tailors in the parish of Nenagh, and the following are their names: Mr. Condon, Mr. Starr, Mr. Reddin, Mr. Hanly, Mr. Ryan, Mr. O' Meara, Mr. Delahunty and Mr. Noonan.
    The tailors now adays work in their own homes. Some of them sell clothes and material to make clothes. He usually makes mens suits and ladies coats and costumes. Sometimes shirts are made by tailors and also in the home.
    The people used to say long ago that it would take thirteen tailors to make one man. Men's socks and children's stockings are knitted locally, some are knitted by hand and others by machine. There are
