- There are the ruins of a castle in Kenturk known as Grainne Uaille's castle This castle was in possession of her son Tíobóid na Long. There is a hanging stone still there where Tíobóid hung several people. There was a woman in the district who could not control her son and she brought him to Tíobóid and Tíobóid hung him.
