    banish them,for instance rubbing the water which stays in a hole in a stone to the warts when they came across it without looking for it,another cure was to stick a black snail on a thorn when the person with the warts came across it without looking for it ,and it was said that as the snale was rotting the warts would be going.
    When a cut was bleeding a lot, the person who had the cut would not bind it with a cloath but he would run to the nearest outhouse and he would get a big cobweb and put it over the cut and this would stop the blood and it would keep the cut together.
