    3. Long ago the people dyed with homemade dye. They dyed with crottle which was got on the rocks. They dyed with "dtuag" which was got where there was Iron ore. It dyed a black dye.
    4. Long ago ropes were made from firr. They would get a stick of firr and peal threads off it. Then they would pleat it into ropes. These were used for tying houses.
