Fishermen say that Friday is an unlucky day for fishing because Our Lord was crucified on that day.
It is said that if any person sleeps on that day that they will sleep every day during that year. Anything that is set on good Friday is sure to grow. It is unlucky to start a new job on Saturday. Pancake Tuesday is called this because every-person made pancakes on that day.
