When carrying the Blessed Sacrament from one altar to the other, the officiating priest walks under a canopy and i accompanied by Acolytes with lighted candles and incense. During the day many people visit the church to adore Jesus in his new home. The ceremonies on Good Friday consist of mass of the Pre- Crucified, adoration of the cross and a sermon. Each person in the congregation goes to the altar nails to kiss a crucifix which is presented to them by the priest. During the day many people go round the Stations of the Cross and at three O'Clock in the afternoon the church is crowded.
On Hallow Eve some people make boxty for their tea. They have also a barn breac in which is a ring and it is said that whoever gets it will be married soon. After tea the children play games. They put an apple and a coin into a tub of water and they try to catch it in their mouths. There is also an apple hung to the ceiling and the children jump up and try to catch it with their mouths. Grown ups also play many tricks on Hallow Eve.
