    When the clouds float through the sky and when the look near at hand it is for rain.
    When the curlews whistles there is rain approaching.
    When the sea-gulls are on the land and they calling is a sign of rain.
    White streaks from the sun is a sign of rain.
    To see the new moon lying on her back is a sign of rainy weather.
    When a person sees a crane it is for rain.
    When the cobwebs are on the grass and on the bushes it is for rain.
    To see a ring close to the moon you know that rain is coming.
    When dogs are sleepy and when geese make a great noice with their wings there are rain approaching.
    When chairs and tables creak by themselves rain is coming.
    To see the stars shooting at night is for rain.
    At the coming of rain a halo is seen around the moon & when the new moon shows too it is a sign of rain also.
    Near the approach of rain the North winds blow and they whistle at the window and the doors.
    At the coming of rain the swallows fly low and close to the ground.
