    There lived two men in the one town land long ago, and the two had the same names and to distinguish them the people called one of them Great Claus and the other man Little Claus.

    There was a man and his son living together long ago. The little boy had a goat and it ate all the plants that the father had planted and destroyed everything about the house.

    There was a man and his son living together long ago. The little boy had a goat and it ate all the plants that the father had planted and destroyed everything about the house. At last the father commanded the boy to leave the goat on the hill. The boy did so and at the end of the week he got uneasy about the goat. He took a little piece of rope in his pocket and went to the hill.
