  1. In Summer when the weather is too warm for Running the usual game for girls is Jackstones. There are at least two players needed and five small pebbles. There are twenty three items in the games namely: Seatters, halves, twos, threes, bob - suas, Rob-three, bob-two, bob-one, bob nothing, tip-the-knee, lady, pinch, crub, eracks, softs, new-milks, buttermilks, lay an egg, pick-the-poet, cut the bacon, gather the sheep, leap the dilet, crows nest, and snapcat. Whoever finishes first wins the game. Each part must be completed before going on is the next.
    In Autumn when the weather is getting cold the usual game is "Rabbits". One acts as hunter two as hounds and the rest are the rabbits. The rabbits hide while the hunter Routs them out and the hounds follow them. A place is picked beforehand where the rabbits can rest if they are tired running. In Winter the games usually played out of doors are cricket or Rounders. For cricket two teams are needed. A wicket is set up in the field and a stone is fixed about seven yards away from it. The player stands at the wicket with a bat and hits the ball which one of the other team bowls. If the ball hits the wicket or the right
